Mobile Application Downloads to Hit Five Billion in 2014

ABI Research expects application downloads to reach five billion by 2014. That is an increase from an estimated 2.3 billion applications downloaded in 2009. O2 Germany leaks GSM Moto Droid

"Last week, US operator Verizon Wireless announced the CDMA-based Motorola Droid, the first smartphone to come with Android 2.0 which is the latest version of Google's mobile operating system.
