
Apple 3G iPhone ranked first in new Nielsen survey of top mobile handhelds for 2009 (Jan - Oct) in terms of subscriber base. Rounding out the top ten: the RIM BlackBerry 8300 Series devices, the Motorola RAZR V3 series, LG VX9100 (enV2), LG Voyager, Samsung SPH-M540 (Rant), the RIM BlackBerry 9530 series (Storm), LG VX9700 (Dare), LG Vu series, and the RIM BlackBerry 8100 series.
Nielsen also offers a listing of the top 10 websites accessed over motilbe phones in the U.S. from January through September 2009:
Google Search, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Weather Channel, Facebook, MSN Hotmail, Google Maps, ESPN, AOL Email, and CNN News.
The latest survey results also included a listing of
the top 10 brands accessed over mobile phones in the U.S. from January through September 2009.
Yaho!, Google, MSN/WindowsLive/Bing, AOL Media Network, Weather Channel, Facebook, CNN Digital Network, Fox Interactive Media, ESPN, and Apple.
The top 10 mobile vide channels in the U.S. from January through September 2009 included:
YouTube, Fox Interactive Media, Weather Channel, Comedy Central, CBS, ABC, MTV, NBC, ESPN, and E!.
